Tettenhall Operatic Company’s Performance Training Bursary is designed to support talented young performers aged 16–30 who are passionate about developing their skills and gaining valuable stage experience.

Whether you love singing, acting or performing, our bursary offers:

🎭 Up to £250 per year towards training and development
🎵 Personalised coaching and feedback
✨ Opportunities to perform in our productions
🤝 Ongoing support from our friendly and experienced company

If you’re enthusiastic, committed and ready to grow as a performer, we’d love to hear from you.

📍 Applicants should be aged 16–30 and based in or near the Wolverhampton area (or able to attend regular rehearsals).

It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of Grenfell Bryan, a long-standing member and friend of Tettenhall Operatic Company.

Gren was part of the TOC family for many years and will be remembered with great affection by those who knew him. He will be sadly missed, and our thoughts are with his family and friends at this difficult time.

At the family’s request, we are sharing the funeral arrangements below for anyone who wishes to pay their respects.

Rest in peace, Gren.

With permission from the family, please find below the funeral details for the late, Grenfell Bryan, who sadly passed away on Monday 10th August 2026, aged 81 Years.
The Funeral Service will take place on Friday 11th September 2026, at Streetly Crematorium West Chapel, Little Hardwick Road, Walsall. WS9 0SG, at 12 Noon.
Family flowers only, please. The family would be grateful for donations, in memory of Grenfell, to Cancer Research UK. Registered Charity Number 1089464

We’re really proud to share this fantastic NODA review of our trio of Sullivan operettas. It’s brilliant to see such positive feedback for everyone involved — cast, directors, musicians and backstage — and we’re so pleased that the audience enjoyed the evening as much as we enjoyed putting it together.

It was a huge team effort across all three shows, and it means a lot to have that recognised. Thank you to Ann Escritt for coming along, supporting local theatre, and taking the time to write such a thoughtful review.

🎭✨ That’s a Wrap! ✨🎭

And just like that, the curtain has fallen on A Trio of Sullivan.

What an incredible few days it’s been! We’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who came along to support us. Your laughter, applause, and wonderful feedback made every performance truly special, and it meant the world to our cast and crew.

To our amazing cast, orchestra, production team, front of house volunteers, and everyone working behind the scenes—thank you for your hard work, dedication, and enthusiasm. Months of rehearsals, planning, and preparation came together to create something we’re incredibly proud of.

We’d also like to thank our friends, families, sponsors, and everyone who helped spread the word about the show. Community support is what keeps local theatre thriving, and we’re so grateful to everyone who played a part.

While it’s always sad to say goodbye to a production, we’re leaving with fantastic memories, new friendships, and plenty of laughs to look back on.

Thank you for being part of our A Trio of Sullivan journey—we hope to see you all again at our next production! ❤️🎭
