For anybody who has experienced difficulty purchasing "Coal on the Cut" on Amazon, the issue is now resolved and it is once again available.
If possible, please support local bookshops and canal shops in preference. There is no difference in price.

We had a good couple of days at the National Waterways Museum at Ellesmere Port. Book sales went well, and I signed most of the copies sold. I think that unsigned copies will be the sought-after ones as time goes on!
The powers that be seemed to know that positioning Jenny and I in the Toll House bar for the promotion and signing would be appropriate; it was.
Many thanks to all who have bought a copy, wherever it was purchased. We still have plenty of copies left for those who have not yet succumbed. They are available at www.coalboat.co.uk and at various canal-side outlets.

This picture sprang out of a dark corner of the Tesco bag. Jules reversing Towcester away from the loading wharf at Awbridge to make way for Jubilee to load up. The other boats in view are Cygnus, Roach and Otley.
By the way, in case I hadn't mentioned it, Jenny and I will be at the Easter boat gathering at Ellesmere Port Boat Museum on Saturday and Sunday, where my new book "Coal on the Cut" will be for sale. I've been learning how to sign my name should anyone want a copy signing.
