Join Central Youth Theatre’s seniors group (ages 13 to 25) as they take you on a journey into another world, filled with weird and wonderful things!

Inspired by the story of Coraline, The Other Palace is a twisted tale told through physical theatre and puppetry. It's a comedy thriller that will leave you both amazed and unsettled as our protagonist explores a magical underworld that is much more than meets the eye.

This show has been created by the young cast, showcasing their performance and movement skills. They have been involved in devising the show, bringing their own ideas to life and they have also designed and made lots of the puppets you’ll see in the show!

Age 4-6 both days are inspired by The Magic Faraway Tree
Ages 7-12 Tues 21st July Harry Potter theme
& Wed 22nd July Disney Descendants theme

Each day has different content so you can book both or one day depending on your preference, so please book on to both days if you would like :)

Throwback to the hilarious clowning comedy performance of 20HOURS that our Emerging Artist company ForeFront took to Thailand back in January!

The clowning performance was created in just 20 hours - the length of time it took for our CYT group to travel from Wolverhampton to Thailand.

A huge bravo to the cast of this production including a number of our young leaders who joined the cast to stage the show in the UK as well as recently representing CYT in Italy at the Festival - you smashed it and did us proud! 🥹 🔥 🤡

A HUGE bravo to the cast of CYT’s Young Leaders group for last nights incredible performance of by former CYT member and professional playwright

We returned to this text after last staging the show back in 2013. It was a physical exploration of what home, hope, belonging and family mean to two sets of young people from seemingly disparate worlds. An incredibly moving performance from these talented young people. ONE NOT TO BE MISSED!
