My first attempt at a 3D ply-split structure, which I started at a workshop at The Loom Shed in Cullompton last weekend. The workshop was run by Julie Hedges, an expert braider and teacher.

There are quite a few minor mistakes, but I'm quite pleased with it just the same.

It was a fabulous weekend at The Loom Shed, with 6 other students (all ladies), along with Julie and the two girls at the shed (Louise and her Mum), who kept us well fed and watered throughout.

Fabulous weekend at Forest Pines in Scunthorpe with BLESMA, the limbless veterans. Over 200 vets there, some of whom joined in my decorative knotting workshop on Sunday afternoon. Having run workshops for 4 years on Zoom, I finally got to meet some of the gang.

Here is Martin, Lisa and yours truly - Martin and Lisa have been knotting regulars with me online, so it was a real treat to meet up in person. I hope Martin's happy with his new leg that he was getting on Monday in Leeds, and I must remember to buy him a pint for all his help with the workshop!

Tried teaching basic tablet weaving to my Blesma chums yesterday. Not an easy subject to teach via Zoom, but they did rather well for a first attempt!
