🦁 The lions are loving their new platform! 🌿

The African lions have a brand new addition to their habitat, designed to encourage relaxation, exercise and play - and it was all built sustainably using re-used materials by Tony from our superstar maintenance team! 👏

It's giving the lions plenty of opportunities to jump, climb and stretch those muscles. And when they’re ready to take it easy? They can snooze on top, enjoying the shelter from the tree behind, or retreat underneath for some extra shade. 😴🌳

Big cats love to climb, so adding features like this is a great way to provide variety and keep animals active, curious and enriched. 🦁❤️

Three days. Three foals. One very special baby boom! 🦓💛

Keepers are thrilled to have welcomed three critically endangered Somali wild ass foals - one born each day over three days! 🎉

The first arrived in spectacular fashion, as first-time mum Amara gave birth right in the Road Safari, with amazed visitors watching on. Experienced mums Nimeesha and Tawa soon followed, with all three stripey-legged arrivals wobbling around and exploring their habitat already. 🥹

As a critically endangered species, each and every birth is precious to conservation efforts, so these three are a reason to celebrate! 💚🌍

The lemur troop have been tucking into some fresh browse, which means it's the perfect time for a little ASMR! 🥬

While people often think lemurs love fruit, many species also enjoy the leaves and seeds from plants and trees. Browse is a brilliant way to encourage their natural foraging behaviours – and judging by those happy crunches, it always hits the spot! 🍃🐒

Kochi has officially made himself at home! 🐾

This handsome red panda has been settling in beautifully, exploring every corner of his Himalayan Heights enclosure and getting to know fellow red panda Mali. 🐼
