Happy New Year to all of you and yours from Wivenhoe SoundLab!

The better half of this year has been all about getting the local music scene going again after a really difficult time, and it's brought us the utmost pleasure to watch you all get back into it, and rehearsing your way back into LIVE gigs.

As a small local business that has had its' challenges, your support has meant everything to us, and has kept us motivated to keep going. We hope you all have a lovely NYE, and that 2022 will be a great musical, happy, and healthy year for everyone :)

One of the bands that has been rehearsing at Wivenhoe SoundLab since the beginning is the amazing Hobo Chang. Part of the pleasure of running a music studio is that you get to hear snippetts of their rehearsals, and then get to watch those bands absolutely kill it live in one of the local venues.

We were at Coda Colchester on the 3rd of December to film some of their songs, so here's their first track of the night 'Mean Woman', filmed by Kaly Temmink, edited by Robert Watts Photographer, hosted by CODA for Musicians Supporting The Homeless C.I.C

You can still book to rehearse this week! Every evening slot this week is still available and plenty of daytime slots left🙂

We are open up until Christmas Eve, and will be closed 25th and 26th of December, open again on the 27th, and closed on the 31st of December and the 1st of January.

I have been taking a LFT every day to be safe with the rise in cases, and would recommend you do the same to keep everyone healthy, safe, and in company at Christmas!
