The Pottery Place - Witney OX28 6HQ The home of creative crafts in the Cotswolds! We are a paint-your-own-pottery and craft studio in the lovely Cotswold town of Witney, Oxfordshire.

You can call in to see us any time to paint pottery, make a mosaic or clay piece, get crafty with Decopatch or get hooked on the new craze that is Block Printing! Our studio has buckets of charm - come and try it for yourself! We are famous for beautiful baby hand and footprints, either on pottery or impressions into clay and plaster. They make great keepsakes and presents. We also undertake a wid

e range of commssions for weddings, christenings and other special events. We have a fab range of unusual 'ready to go' gifts, as well as our own hand painted pieces ready for sale or created to your unique tailor made designs.

Last week we said goodbye to our wonderful Kiela. She started with us as our Saturday girl when she was 16, and over the last 5 years she’s climbed the ranks to lead artist. We’ve seen her grow so so many ways and she’s has taken on her fair share of fun (and challenging) commissions which she nailed every time.

We’re sad to see her go but wish her all the best with her future endeavours ❤️

If you need some ‘me time’ after a hectic half term, or a catch up with friends, we still have spaces available at this Fridays Paint and Prosecco evening from 7pm 🎨🥂

Your ticket includes £20 worth of pottery, a glass of fizz and some nibbles, but you are welcome to bring your own bottle and treats to keep the good vibes flowing! You can also add additional pottery items and pay the difference at the end of the evening

It’s the perfect chance to create a meaningful keepsake and something they can treasure for years to come for dads, grandads, and father figures

We offer commissioned pieces if you’d prefer us to take care of all the hard work, or you’re very welcome to visit the studio and paint your own creation.

We also still have availability in the studio on 21st June, making it a lovely opportunity to spend some quality time together as a family.

The sun is out and we’re in for a hot one this week ☀️

Whilst the kiln can warm up the studio, we do everything we can to keep it cool. We get the fans blasting and cold drinks flowing in order for you to have an enjoyable time out of the sun
