A huge thank you to everyone who came along to the Minster Lovell Festival yesterday. It was fantastic to see people of all ages enjoying themselves, and thankfully the weather turned out much better than most of us expected! ☀️
A special thank you must go to our amazing volunteers. So many people worked incredibly hard behind the scenes and throughout the day to make the festival happen.
Our committee, which is only around four people, should be incredibly proud of how everything came together. We know that not everything was perfect, but that’s part of putting on an event like this. Over the next few weeks, we’ll sit down, reflect on the day and look at what we can improve for the future.
But for now, we want to focus on all the positives! ❤️

Martin Hawkins– thank you for the lighting.
Jim Smith – for running around all day supporting the whole stage setup and helping wherever he was needed.
Lucy Dunn– for organising the troops behind the bar. This is something we’ve worked really hard on over the years, and it’s fantastic to see that effort paying off with the speed we’re now getting those drinks out!
Raybert Ltd – thank you for your brilliant bar support.
Blizzard Security Services LTD – thank you for helping keep everyone safe throughout the event.
CCW Event Medics – thank you for providing first aid support.
A big thank you also goes to all of our stallholders. You brought so much variety and atmosphere to the festival, and we hope you had a great day with us.
And, of course, a massive thank you to all of our sponsors. Your support means an enormous amount to us and genuinely helps make the festival possible. We really couldn’t do it without you.
Finally, and most importantly, thank you to every single person who attended. It’s great to see people of all ages enjoying the day, is exactly why we put the festival on.
