Bum on the sofa having a good scribble!

In the sun and in the shade. I didn't like the leaves so I sanded them back, layered on more paint, fabric, sheet music ...

In the sun and in the shade.

I didn't like the leaves so I sanded them back, layered on more paint, fabric, sheet music and stained book pages.
I then used floral stamps on white tissue paper and used gel medium to layer that on.
Then came the gold leaf to give a background for the butterfly wing. I love it so far but its not finished, just not sure where I'm going with it next.

And here's what my random mess was for.. gold outline is acrylic paint with a splash of pouring medium in a needle tip b...
