This month in the phone box we have a wonderful exhibit by the Witchford Girl Guides to celebrate World Thinking Day which is celebrated annually on 22 February by all Girl Guides and Girl Scouts. It is a day when they think about their "sisters" (and "brothers") in all the countries of the world.

This years' is ‘Our Friendship', and it's particularly special as it marks 100 years of World Thinking Day!

This month the phone box is highlighting White Ribbon Day on 25th November 2025.

White Ribbon is a leading charity in England and Wales engaging men and boys to prevent men’s violence against women and girls

This White Ribbon Day, they want more men to use their voices and speak up to create a world where everyone is safe, equal and respected.

Every time we ignore something that doesn’t feel right, we miss a chance to set a better example.

First up a night of 50’s and 60’s music to dance the night away at St Andrews Hall on Friday 19th Sept from 7.30pm.
Then on Sunday 19th October bring your furry friends to the Witchford Pet Sevice in the church at 10am.

This month a lovely spring display to promote the up coming Witchford Flower Festival ‘Brides…..revisited A Celebration of Weddings’ at St Andrew’s Church Witchford from 3rd to 5th May. If you missed the wonderful Wind in the Willows Flower Festival back in May… pop along to the Phone Box Gallery to see some fab photos of the event. A huge amount of work went into it from a sterling team of volunteers!!

If you did manage to visit, come and remind yourself of the whole event…. Also, put 3/4/5th May 2025 in your diaries for next year’s festival!! 👰‍♂️🤵👰🤵‍♂️🤵‍♀️
