10-week Course Structure:
4 weeks drawing prep based on the subject matter for the term.
1 week Masterclass in the term's painting medium: 3 terms per year - oils,

watercolours, acrylics.
5 weeks exploring the painting medium leading to a final painting using your drawing prep.

We had a really enjoyable session at the Oils Workshop at Hands-On Art Adventures in Old Windsor. We started with an exercise on mixing skin tones - important first step with portraits. 😉 Here are a couple of the finished works.

Are you coming to the June Art Workshops at Hands-On Art Adventures in Old Windsor? Our next workshop is on Tuesday June 16th at either 10am or 7 pm and for a 2 hour session it's only £27. This time we'll be using oil paints and we'll provide all the paints, tools and equipment you'll need to paint a lovely picture to take home. Here's the super results of the Drawing Workshop at Hands-On Art Adventures in Old Windsor. Our artists really enjoyed finding out tips and techniques on drawing faces and practising the Loomis method of proportion, and were using pencils and charcoal.

The results from the Watercolours Workshop at Hands-On Art Adventures this week were absolutely amazing!
The artists enjoyed the first exercise with layering and colouring the negative space around leaf shapes. Then they selected their favourite references and produced some beautiful work. These are just a taster.
