🎓 little golden graduation cap
🎓 little bit of gold dust
🎓 a lot of jemimap love

when my friends all moved to uni and i had a gap year after deferring my place at sheffield (absolutely recommend a gap year, it did wonders for my confidence!!) i painted them some of the first jemimaps to remind them of home🏠

at that time, jemimap wasn’t jemimap, it was, quite literally, ‘home is where the heart is’. i started getting requests for all sorts of quotes, icons, colours, countries (i’ve created over 800 different combinations!)

kind of chic moment of truth.. is anyone still here? 👋🏼 have you missed me? i haven’t posted in 3 years but i’m still here! let me know if you see this by commenting your fave place you’ve been to in the past 3 years, and i’ll pick one of you to send a map to💗🥰

fun thing is.. i’m about to board a flight! let’s see how far this post can go before i land!! saw this trend everywhere this morning and thought hey why not do it?

got so many ideas for jemimap, but i’ve put so much pressure on having a perfect feed, perfect pictures, perfect business that it just overwhelmed me and i stopped posting! but i truly think of jemimap every day, so if you’re reading this, thank you, i’m BACKKK! here’s to a new era of map painting and more!! watch this space (hopefully won’t be another 3 years)
