About motivation, burnout, and getting back to what you love to do ๐ธ
In the past months I have not been as active and invested in social media, making silks and dancing as I planned to be in the beginning of the year๐ง
So I decided to take a break from social media and focus on what makes me happy at the moment, which was pretty much a looot of books and food ๐ช
I heard this burnout happens often with dancers (as well as anybody doing something for a long time) and there is two way of dealing with it:
๐Either you force yourself to keep going, or let it be and when you get back to doing your thing you get back to it.
โฏ๏ธOf course there is a good and bad side to both of them, I personally donโt believe in anything that is forced, but with letting things be there is a chance that we never return to doing what we loved doing.
โ๏ธSo as the days get longer and there is more and more madness going on in the world I slowly started picking up my fan veils, silk veil poi (I especially enjoy this at the moment) and hoops, but off camera so I can focus on the flow and not on how I look.
I know I promised you guys a monthly custom order opening, and as I wasnโt really here for a long time, I will keep my custom orders open for a time being now, so anyone who wanted to put their hands on a pair can do so ๐
I also almost have a collection ready, which will include fan veils, jumbo fan veils, and silk veil pois too this time! โจ
So watch this space to get some more info in the next few weeks, and in the mean time, custom orders are available if you click the link in my bio ๐
Thank you for reading, and your support and please let me know in the comments what youโve been up to while I was unplugged from insta ๐๐๐ผ
