A TOAST FESTIVE MARKET · A celebration of creativity and craftsmanship this festive season.

In the weeks leading up to Christmas, will host a festive market at Coal Drops Yard, London.

Every Thursday through to Sunday between 16 November and 17 December, a collection of unique handcrafted gifts will be available, alongside TOAST gifting and festive decorations. There will be a changing programme of makers and events each weekend.

I am beyond excited to share I will be a part of the market, trading on the first weekend November 16th - 19th, & the last weekend December 14th - 17th. Some sneak peaks in the weeks to follow of the pieces that will be available for purchase… I can’t wait to see you there!

Care has joined me on my team as Brand Ambassador & Creative Events Director at Tash Fry klā ~ and already, what a team we are making!

I can’t wait to share all the exciting projects Care and I are cooking up behind the scenes, with each beautiful conversation together I am left feeling more and more inspired!

Care has a wealth of experience in the business and creative world. You will find her at my market stalls, on the other end of emails, foraging materials in the forest, working in the studio, and probably arranging beautiful fruit!

Think in colour 🧡

For the past month I have been living, thinking, drawing towards the fire of summer’s vivid oranges, yellows- feeling like they’re burning bright from within my core, my season and month in Leo pouring out of me like liquid gold. As the warm harvest season and late summer nights drew in, the colour deepened and enriched and grew bolder, brighter.

Realising and embracing that colour is a huge part of the way I visualise my life: how I function, in the way I structure my day, what I wear, how it affects my mood, how it shapes my work and in turn me as a person, has been a really eye opening and important journey for me.

I always associated my feelings with the weather, but perhaps it is actually the visuals of the seasons that affect me so deeply.

I always thought that colour was just something I was aware of, but now I am realising the colours that I am surrounded by I am embodying, and they really dictate my internal narrative. It’s been a kind of a beautiful learning experience.

I hope I can continue this inner red-orange fire and passion as we move into the cooler, darker months- perhaps drawing my emotions and embodiment from the rich earth & the crimson & amber leaves on the trees, rather than the hot summer sun.

Tomato season is the best season 🍅

I always say that if I could only eat one food for the rest of my life then it would have to be tomatoes 🍅 my love for them has always been strong in my life, I could eat them every meal, the first thing I learned how to cook was a tomato pasta sauce ~ and now they seem to be finding their way into my work, my workshop and market stall displays…

A tomato collection perhaps? I feel one coming❣️

Welcoming you all into my dreamiest workshop yet, Riverside Water Vessels 🏺

I am so excited to be hosting this workshop end of July at ******er.

This is one of my favourite concepts of mine, that I have been wanting to bring to reality for a very long time.
We will be spending 2 focussed hours, coiling and handbuilding our very own sacred Water Vessels at the riverside, amongst the very special crystal clear waters of the River Itchen.

I will be teaching you how to sculpt your own large-scale Amphora Vessels. I will also share the beautiful, ancient stories + history of the water jar, and our ancestral relationship with ceramics. I will also host a beautiful, meditative sound bath as we explore the journey of water from river, to vessel through sound.

This class is a true meditation for your senses + your mind, so calming and focussed on exploration and the elements of our earth.

I found a bank of wild clay on the Jurassic coast- thick, sticky and very plastic (mailable), just about pure enough to collect a small bag full, and create some raw, un-purified bowls on the sea shore.

Finding wild clay like this and creating with it in its origin environment, around the elements it formed alongside feels like the core of my practice. It feels like the rawest and purest form of creation for me. No tools, no expectation, just exploration.

Back in 2021 I created hundreds of these special cups for cafe, designed to make sipping your cosy warm drink just that little bit more special and mindful. Now, we are teaming up to offer you an opportunity to create a set of these classic Cups for yourself! ☕️🫖

Learn how to create a set of 2 beautiful hand-sculpted cups, just like the ones in . I will be sharing my techniques on exactly how I create the gentle, organic shape of these pieces, how you can work with nature + foraged plants to weave unique poetry and deign into your pieces. No experience is required! 🫶

Hosted in 6th July 6:00-8:00pm, + 9th July 2:00-4:00pm. The workshops are the perfect way to spend an evening / afternoon relaxing, getting creative, + receive some beautiful functional tableware you have made yourself!
