Come and paint sunflowers with me this September!

Join me for relaxed morning of watercolour, beautiful seasonal, locally-grown sunflowers, coffee, pastries and a little time to switch off and make something with your hands.

We’ll explore colour, loose washes, layers and those glorious, wonky sunflower shapes with plenty of gentle guidance along the way.

No experience needed. Just come as you are, on your own or bring a friend!

Make Space is for experienced painters, complete beginners, and everyone in between. There’s no pressure to produce something perfect, just time to play, learn, trust the process and enjoy making something.

And I’ll always be right there to help when you need it.

My new winter painting experiences are now live! A collection of relaxed, seasonal watercolour workshops at The Chestnut Horse, Easton Village, following the flowers and botanicals through the colder months.

We’ll paint beautiful winter foliage by candlelight in November, festive greenery in December, delicate snowdrops in January and gorgeous hellebores in February.

And November is something a little bit special…

Winter Botanicals by Candlelight…
a crackling fire, candlelight, armfuls of winter foliage, mulled wine, hot chocolate and festive nibbles and a couple of hours to slow down and paint together.

As always, absolutely no painting experience is needed. Everything is provided and you’ll be gently guided throughout.

Come alone, bring a friend, your mum, your sister… and make a little space for yourself this winter.

The Winter Collection is now open for booking.

And just like that we’re heading into winter!

The next chapter of Paint the Seasons is here…I’m very excited to share this collection of relaxed, seasonal watercolour workshops at The Chestnut Horse, following the flowers and botanicals through the colder months.

More mornings like this please! 😍✨

What an absolute joy!

A table overflowing with locally grown flowers from , the most vibrant colours, coffee, pastries, conversation and a whole lot of painting!

We explored some simple beginner watercolour skills; wet on dry, wet on wet, lifting and layering. We then went on to mix colour, building layers, looking closely at shape and letting the paint do its thing before everyone created their own response to the flowers in front of them.

And LOOK at what they made ❤️ So many completely different paintings from the same table of flowers.

The bit before everyone arrives…

The flowers are chosen, the colour palette is planned & paints are ready.

I love this part almost as much as the experience itself, working out the palette, looking properly at the flowers and imagining all the completely different paintings that will come from the same bunch.

Dahlias & Abundance is this Friday! I cannot wait to see what my lovely attendees create.
