July bookings are now open!

After a wonderful sold-out June experience, I’m delighted to be returning to Stem & Green Flower Farm for another Floral Pick & Paint morning.

We’ll begin with a wander through the flower field, gathering a selection of beautiful seasonal blooms to inspire our paintings. From there, I’ll guide you through a relaxed, beginner-friendly watercolour session where you’ll learn how to capture the shapes, colours and character of your chosen flowers.

This isn’t about creating a perfect painting. It’s about slowing down, noticing the details, spending time outdoors and making space for creativity.

Your experience includes:

✨Picking your own flowers from the flower field
✨ Guided watercolour tuition
✨ All professional materials provided
✨ Tea, coffee and homemade cake
✨ Your artwork and flowers to take home

Today I spent 15 minutes of my day simply observing lavender.

Not rushing or trying to create anything perfect.

Just noticing the shapes, the movement, the tiny flowers hidden within each stem. They really are so beautiful!

The noticing is often the part we skip. But slowing down and really looking is where creativity begins.

This is exactly what we do at Make Space Art experiences…taking a little time out of busy lives to notice, observe and create.

A week ago I was hoping people would enjoy this experience as much as I had enjoyed creating it.

Seeing everyone leave with flowers in one hand, their paintings in the other and huge smiles on their faces made all the planning worthwhile.

I’m already looking forward to the next one 🌱

A few things I heard at the Floral Pick & Paint experience.

“I haven’t picked up a paintbrush since school.”

“I’m not very creative.”

“Oh… this is so relaxing.”

“I am absolutely loving this”

And my personal favourite…

“When’s the next one?”

One of the loveliest things about hosting creative experiences is watching people arrive feeling a little uncertain and leave with a smile, a painting they’re proud of and a few hours of calm they didn’t realise they needed.

Thank you to everyone who joined me for our first Floral Pick & Paint at Stem & Green Flower Farm. It was such a special morning.

Some mornings turn out even better than you imagined.

Today we gathered at Stem & Green Flower Farm for the very first Floral Pick & Paint experience.

We wandered through the flower fields selecting stems, shared coffee, cake and a glass of local sparkling wine, then spent the morning painting under the canopy, amongst our flowers. We even celebrated a birthday!

What I loved most was watching everyone slow down, become completely absorbed in the process and make space for themselves.

Thank you to everyone who joined me and helped make the first one so special.

Tomorrow is the day! 🌱✨🌼

Tomorrow I’ll be welcoming the first guests to my Floral Pick & Paint experience at Stem & Green Flower Farm.
