A truly wonderful Kraftwerk concert at the BIC last night.
Great to meet up with many of the Bournemouth EMOM crowd before and after the show. The concert was fantastic from start to finish. The visuals were absolutely stunning. There was also a moving tribute to the late great Ryuichi Sakamoto with a rendition of the theme music Sakamoto composed for the film "Merry Christmas, Mr Lawrence."

For some more electronic music goodness, Bournemouth EMOM will be back on 18th June at the

PERFORMERS WANTED!
An urgent call out to anyone who fancies performing as part of the Soundscape event in Poole on 11 July. https://www.facebook.com/SoundScapeDorsetUK

Ski Daddle – one of the organisers, who many of you will know – is looking for 1-2 electronic music performers for a 30-40mins set. The electronic music performances will take place at the HMV Store in Poole from noon on the 11th July. I understand that Bournemouth EMOM regulars, Wattsy and Middle Aged Moron are already booked in.

KRAFTWERK
So... who's going to Kraftwerk next Tuesday?

A few of us at Bournemouth EMOM are planning to meet up beforehand at The 1812 opposite the BIC. I know some will be there mid-afternoon as they are eating there beforehand. I'll expect be there from around 5:30pm.

The last time I saw Kraftwerk was during their 8 day residency in the Turbine Hall at the Tate Modern. Only around 1,200 tickets available for each night – I have never seen such a mad scramble for tickets.
