It's folk festival weekend! Here's a look at some of the new releases for this week to distract you from the bells and the clacking wooden sticks.

First up is Olivia Rodrigo's latest album: "You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl so In Love", available on CD and black or white vinyl

Next we have "Insomnia" by Faithless, a limited edition 30th anniversary, 4 track 12" on orange vinyl.

Here we have a Yesplosion of Aurora records, ranging from deluxe 2CD+BluRay artbooks to real mouthfuls like the "limited deluxe light green 180g 2LP+2CD+BluRay with artbook and poster" for the proper crate diggers.

Finally we have "Three Lions"; 30th anniversary, available on CD or red 7".

Here's our first selection of new releases for June:

Pink Floyd: 8-tracks - eight essential classics selected from the 1971 – 1979 era, a perfect starting point for new listeners as well as a carefully curated collection for long-time fans. Available on blue vinyl, black vinyl and on CD!

Nine Inch Nails: TRON Ares: Divergence - reimagines the original TRON: Ares soundtrack with a mix of previously unreleased score material plus a bunch of remixes - available on double vinyl!

Ryan Adams: The Su***de Handbook - recorded at the beginning of his solo career and only previously available through bootlegs, earning a legendary status for its stark stripped-back beauty. Now officially available on double vinyl and CD!

Niall Horan: Dinner Party - his fourth solo album, is “a thank you to the past and a hello to the present” with 12 new tracks of “love, intimacy, fear, loss, hope and dreams”. Available on indie exclusive 'wine glass clear' vinyl and on CD!

Blood Incantation: All Gates Open (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) - the soundtrack to a documentary that chronicles the making of their 2025 album Absolute Elsewhere and previously only available with the deluxe edition of that album, now available on orange double vinyl + that 73 minute documentary on Blu-ray and in a CD + Blu-ray pack!

Boards of Canada: Inferno - back after thirteen years of silence with a new album spanning seventy minutes, available on double black vinyl, indie exclusive double translucent red vinyl in a triple gatefold sleeve with a 16-page booklet, and on CD in a six-panel wallet with 20-page booklet!

Paul McCartney: The Boys of Dungeon Lane - a collection of revealing glimpses into never-before shared memories about his childhood in post-war Liverpool, his parents, and his early adventures with John & George, available on indie exclusive pink vinyl or black vinyl with a 12-page lyric booklet, and on CD too!

Violet Grohl: Be Sweet To Me - Dave's daughter's debut album, inspired by alternative music from the late ‘80s and early ‘90s (“That's what my dad was playing in the car on the way to school”) and available on lapis lazuli blue vinyl (I added the 'lapis lazuli', but it is a lovely deep translucent blue) and on CD!

Freya Ridings: Mother of Pearl - her third album, 'an 11-track collection of soaring anthems that weave her raw feminine strength and ancestral fire into themes of resilience, grief, and liberation', available on 'Inkplosion' EcoRecord vinyl, and on CD!

Late Transmissions starring Eve Quartermain: The Heart Wants What It Wants - cinematic debut from a new group reuniting Davids Balfe & Hughes with Eve Quartermain on vocals. "The greatest Bond soundtrack you never heard" - 3 Songs and Out. Available on limited edition hand numbered translucent red vinyl, with A4 8 page lyric booklet and signed A5 numbered art print - 1 of 5 random designs!

Tori Amos: In Times of Dragons - the 18th album in Amos’ illustrious 36-year career, a very timely 'metaphorical story about the fight for Democracy over Tyranny'. Available on double black vinyl, and on CD too!

Billy Eilish: Hit Me Hard and Soft: The Tour (Live) - Recorded during her sold-out world tour, available exclusively as a one-time pressing on 100% recycled vinyl, uniquely coloured with a lenticular insert!

Buena Vista Social Club: Lost And Found - the 2015 collection of previously unreleased tracks, some recorded at the first legendary sessions in Havana with producer Ry Cooder in 1996. Reissued on 180g black vinyl!

Anderson .Paak: Malibu - the 10th anniversary reissue of the album "blending 1970s funk, church-reared gospel, and gritty boom-bap into something that feels both nostalgic and entirely futuristic".
