Feeling warm? How about some nice fresh vinyl to cool you down? Here's a selection of new releases picked by Rob just for you:

Boards of Canada: Inferno - back after thirteen years of silence with a new album spanning seventy minutes, available on double black vinyl, indie exclusive double translucent red vinyl in a triple gatefold sleeve with a 16-page booklet, and on CD in a six-panel wallet with 20-page booklet!

Paul McCartney: The Boys of Dungeon Lane - a collection of revealing glimpses into never-before shared memories about his childhood in post-war Liverpool, his parents, and his early adventures with John & George, available on indie exclusive pink vinyl or black vinyl with a 12-page lyric booklet, and on CD too!

Violet Grohl: Be Sweet To Me - Dave's daughter's debut album, inspired by alternative music from the late ‘80s and early ‘90s (“That's what my dad was playing in the car on the way to school”) and available on lapis lazuli blue vinyl (I added the 'lapis lazuli', but it is a lovely deep translucent blue) and on CD!

Freya Ridings: Mother of Pearl - her third album, 'an 11-track collection of soaring anthems that weave her raw feminine strength and ancestral fire into themes of resilience, grief, and liberation', available on 'Inkplosion' EcoRecord vinyl, and on CD!

All Them Witches: House of Mirrors - reissue of the 1982 album from Dublin’s most uncompromising post-punk collective, available on limited edition 'cascabel chili' vinyl, and on CD!

Chet Faker: A Love for Strangers - Aussie singer-songwriter Nick Murphy's first Chet Faker album in four years 'expands his previously established sound in thrilling new directions'. Available on vinyl and CD!

Shye Ben Tzur, Jonny Greenwood & The Rajasthan Express: Ranjha - follow-up to 2015's Junun, this new collaboration features composer and Radiohead guitarist Jonny Greenwood, celebrated composer/musician Shye Ben Tzur, and the Indian ensemble The Rajasthan Express. Available on coral & red splatter gatefold vinyl and on CD!

Westlife: 25 The Ultimate Collection - featuring hits across all eras including fan favourites and two brand new tracks recorded especially for this anniversary project, available on vinyl, CD and as a 25-track deluxe CD edition!

Late Transmissions starring Eve Quartermain: The Heart Wants What It Wants - cinematic debut from a new group reuniting Davids Balfe & Hughes with Eve Quartermain on vocals. "The greatest Bond soundtrack you never heard" - 3 Songs and Out. Available on limited edition hand numbered translucent red vinyl, with A4 8 page lyric booklet and signed A5 numbered art print - 1 of 5 random designs!

Tori Amos: In Times of Dragons - the 18th album in Amos’ illustrious 36-year career, a very timely 'metaphorical story about the fight for Democracy over Tyranny'. Available on double black vinyl, and on CD too!

Billy Eilish: Hit Me Hard and Soft: The Tour (Live) - Recorded during her sold-out world tour, available exclusively as a one-time pressing on 100% recycled vinyl, uniquely coloured with a lenticular insert!

Kacey Musgraves: Middle of Nowhere - her sixth studio album, made for two-stepping, drawing on a love of Texas dancehall classics. Available on Rodeo Clown Mix vinyl, and on CD!

The Black keys: Peaches! - the duo's 14th album, inspired by their obsessive record-collecting habit but "to call it a covers record would be to oversimplify it" says Aurbach. Available on white vinyl and CD!

Buena Vista Social Club: Lost And Found - the 2015 collection of previously unreleased tracks, some recorded at the first legendary sessions in Havana with producer Ry Cooder in 1996. Reissued on 180g black vinyl!

Anderson .Paak: Malibu - the 10th anniversary reissue of the album "blending 1970s funk, church-reared gospel, and gritty boom-bap into something that feels both nostalgic and entirely futuristic". Available in two vinyl formats: double colour vinyl in a pop-up gatefold sleeve and Limited Edition double Zoetrope!

As Record Store Day approaches we find ourselves busier and busier, but the new releases keep coming! Here’s a look at what’s to come this Friday.

Firstly, Jessie Ware’s “Superbloom” will be available on both CD and limited edition ‘Peacock Blue’ vinyl.

A-ha’s Analogue 20th anniversary deluxe edition will be out tomorrow on CD, gearing up for RSD’s release of the vinyl version.

Tomora’s (Tom Rowlands of the Chemical Brothers, and Aurora) debut album “Come Closer” will be available for purchase on LP from tomora morning.

Judie Tzuke’s “Now or Never” will be on our shelves tomorrow on both CD and LP; her latest album since Jude the Unsinkable.
