Only a week to go to the annual Macmillan Coffee Morning in Woodlands. Join your friends and neighbours for cake and a hot drink in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.

Bring your apples to the hall, press your juice and join in the fun, with live music, a free tasty soup and cheese lunch and the chance to sample last year's vintage!! There will be apple recipe booklets available, you may find a new favourite. This is a great community free event, even if you don't have any apples come and join in.

Give your unwanted clothes a new life and discover some new favourites at our community clothes swap event on Saturday 19th September.
Bring good quality clothes, footwear and accessories to Woodlands Village hall between 10 and 11.30am and return at 1pm to swap these for a new-to-you selection. An affordable, fun and environmentally friendly way to refresh your wardrobe while reducing textile waste.

😀🍏🍺𝐖𝐨𝐨𝐝𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐬 𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐢𝐬 𝐨𝐧 𝟑𝐫𝐝 𝐎𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐛𝐞𝐫, please start saving cleaned plastic bottles with lids (milk and water bottles are ideal) for dropping to the village hall on the day to be filled with apple juice. You can also bring your own apples and get them pressed, doesn’t matter if they are a bit battered and bruised they will still make lovely juice! 😀🍏🍺 More details to follow.

The Verwood U3A Ukulele Band played a superb set in the village hall's delightful garden today. Visitors found shade to sit in and enjoy a musically fun afternoon, nobody will forget Doh Ray Me in a hurry 😀😀
