"Saturday evening, in the stunning 12th Century Minster church was an absolute delight with new acts for me as well as a very firm favourite. Opening was local musician and guitar supremo Bob Carter display huge skill. Holly Clarke impressed me on first seeing with a superb voice and some very dynamic songs and a good deal of charm and humour. Daria Kulesh along with Marina Osman, who was able to use the church's grand piano, and Katrina Davies held the audience spellbound. Daria's songs are a mix of fairytale and bleak history of a troubled lands but the passion and resilience of people always shine through." A collection of photographs from Wimborne Minster Folk Festival 2026. The festival was held at different sites all over the the town on a very hot, bright and sunny weekend. We photographed as much dance as we could, including the audience participation dance and the Street Ceildih.

That's a wrap! Wimborne Minster Folk Festival is over for 2026.
Thank you for all the amazing feedback on all the dancers, music and friendly volunteers, it's great to hear that people enjoyed the events, the atmosphere and our lovely town.
It wouldn't be the same without the traders, tasty food and drinks, plus also the Town of Culture, vital medics on standby, sound and audio Techs, Insights Security and of course our invaluable Sponsors either!
We'll keep posting highlights as we can, but for now from a very tired volunteering committee, thank you and good night Wimborne 🎶🎶😎🎶🎶
