Fabulous night at the King Edward Centre on Friday 11th Feb. The Chatteris screening of HomefromHome. It was so wonderful to meet people who were evacuated into Chatteris, to say hello to the wonderful people who we met to do the oral histories. And... Members of the Chatteris community who came out to support us. Thank you Chatteris for being such an amazing community. Thanks to the support of Chatteris Archives, Chatteris Community Cinema, Chatteris Museum and Age Uk. Well done to the Chatteris Youth and to 20Twenty Productions and David Johnson. If you would like to see the film we have one more screening at March Town Hall on Wednesday 24th March -2pm. Just a reminder, we have a showing of our film 'HomeFromHome', a WW2 story about evacuees in Chatteris, It its free to watch. The showing is at March Town Hall on the 24th February. The film starts at 2 o'clock but doors open at 1:30. There is also another showing at the Chatteris King Edwards Centre, Friday the 12th of February. Film starts at 6pm, Doors open at 5:30. 5 sleeps till the premier of HomefromHome! If you are interested in seeing the film we have a showing on Friday 12th February at the King Edward Centre in Chatteris, 6pm (doors open at 5.30pm) and a showing at March Town Hall on Wednesday 24th February 2pm (doors open at 1.30pm). There is no charge, just let us know if you can as spaces are limited in both venues. The film is 45 minutes long.

Have you been wondering what we have been up to lately? The team have still been really busy with the edit of the film, while a group of young people from Thomas Clarkson in Wisbech have been creating the music score. Our young cast are working hard on their bronze Arts Award and else where schools materials are being created and the British Legion Youth group have been working with Chatteris Museum to curate an exhibition to compliment the film. We would like to say a massive THANK YOU to you all for following our project.

The film will premier at the Light Cinema in Wisbech in January, and will show at the King Edward Centre in Chatteris on February 12th and March Town Hall on February 24th. The museum exhibition will be open the weekend of 30th January. Although all the filming is over the project is still very active. This week we met with the Chatteris British Legion youth group who will be curating an exhibition at Chatteris Museum. There is a group of young people at Thomas Clarkson in Wisbech who are composing the music to the film and lots of editing is going on at the home of 20Twenty Productions. Meanwhile the Chatteris youth theatre are all working on getting their bronze Arts Award.

We have had an amazing week of filming HomefromHome with the Chatteris youth theatre. We are so grateful to all our fabulous volunteers and team: Risa, Sarah, Jane, Tim, Gary, Harry, Ben, Katherine, Geri, David, Maz, Rachel, Sam, Barry, Tony, Emma, Colin, Luane, Charlotte, Malcolm, Roy, Scott from Trot On, Terry and Becky from the Ramsey Rural Museum, all the committee at the 1940's camp, Terry from Heacham Railway holiday accommodation and Rev Smith from St Peters church. And of course our amazing cast: Oli, Freya, Kathryn, Anya, Natalie, Kylan, Jamie, Sophie, Millie, Joe, Lillia-Joy, Charlie, Gemma, Phoenix, Eva, and Darcy.

It's been a blast! Still have a couple more scenes to finish off. An exhibition to curate and the oral histories to complete .. But we are well on our way.
