Come and sing with The Barnby!

Are you interested in singing some of the great Choral Works? If so, join us as we start our exciting new season on Tuesday, September 10. The first few weeks will be ‘New Singers friendly’, so there’s no better time to step up and try us out.

We will start by rehearsing the popular Vivaldi’s Gloria for our concert on Sunday 8 December. This will be complemented by a modern piece, The Passing of the Year by Jonathan Dove.

Next March we will be singing Brahms Requiem, considered by many to be one of the finest works in the choral repertoire.

Rehearsals are on Tuesdays from 8.00 to 9.45 in Wilmslow Methodist church. If you are interested, do please get in touch or just arrive and we’ll take it from there. No strings attached!

40th Anniversary Celebration

Come and join us to celebrate our 40th Anniversary with a special event on 8th June at 18.00 at Wilmslow United Reformed Church, Chapel Lane, Wilmslow. As well as looking back on 40 years of success, we will be launching our new book showcasing the charity and its work.

The celebration event is free to enter and will be followed by a concert of “Water Music” given by The Barnby Choir at 19.30. Tickets are required for the concert and can be purchased in advance from Shan (01625 520193).
