Dear Lisa Nandi
I hope this Email finds you well
I am writing to you with a sense of profound urgency and moral outrage regarding the ongoing military offensive against the Kurdish people and other minorities in Syria.
As the world watches, the "unified" Syria being built under the government of Ahmad al-Sharaa is being forged through the blood of the very people who were United Kindom’s most reliable allies in the defeat of ISIS. The current situation is not a "national integration"—it is a campaign of ethnic cleansing and state-sponsored terror.
The Math of Betrayal is Clear:
Massacres in kurds cities and villages: Since January 6, 2026, the neighborhoods of Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafieh have faced relentless shelling, drone strikes, and reports of extrajudicial executions. Over 300000 civilians are currently displaced and without aid.
Forced Disarmament: The recent "integration" deal signed on January 18 effectively strips the Kurds of their self-defense capabilities, handing over their security to a government led by individuals with a documented history of extremist violence.
The Turkey-Damascus Pincer: The Kurdish people are being squeezed between a hostile government in Damascus and the military aggression of Turkey.
For years, the US, UK, and Israel relied on Kurdish bravery to stabilize the Middle East and destroy the "Caliphate." To turn a blind eye now—for the sake of "stability" or "Realpolitik"—is a betrayal of the democratic values we are all claim to lead.
I demand that our government in the UK and UK armies near Syria Intervene immediately to stop the military offensive.
Condition all diplomatic recognition and aid to the Sharaa government on the absolute protection of Kurdish autonomy and minority rights.
Establish a UN-monitored "Safe Zone" to prevent further ethnic cleansing and displacement.
Hold the perpetrators accountable for war crimes being committed under the guise of "national unity."
History will judge this administrations not by the deals signed with dictators, but by how it treated the allies who stood by you when the world was in danger. You cannot say you didn't know. The eyes of the world are open.
I am looking forward that you rise the Current Syrian Kurds struggle situations to Sir Kier Starmer and Labour Part
Yours Sincerely,
Sulleyman Sourkan
