*Long, Boring, Post Alert* (but open for DJ/Karaoke business from Sept 🤣😘)
It’s a nightmare as a singer, literally the only one job you can’t do when your chest or throat goes and totally out of your hands. When I closed down my kids party business last year, I really should have thought that through 🤣🤣 don’t have to sing at a kids party 🤷♀️ but, I was juggling 3 work lives, school, parties and singing, so I had to get rid of one, and it had to be the one that was making me the least happy out of the 3 at the time. And 60 screaming kids on a Saturday afternoon for 3 hours won the mental vote🤣…..also due to the prep, wrapping pass the parcels at home (HATE 🤣🤣), prizes cost, hiring of a helper to dress up and do the tattoos. It was the one job that was the most costly and time consuming to prepare.
So from September I am going to be taking DJ bookings for parties of all ages (apart from weddings, 18th’s, 21st’s and 30th’s). I think the reasons are self explanatory 🥴😵💫🍻❄️👊🤣🤣 I like to make my life as plain and stress free as possible 🙌
But ALL kids ages, plus 40th’s, 50th’s, 60th’s, 70th’s, 80th’s, 90th’s (and above), and of course, my favourite jobs- Christenings 🙌 👶
I will provide-
Disco
Karaoke Parties
Balloons on the dancefloor
Floor games, prizes, balloon swords.
Glitter tattoos on advance request (so I can order)
I can also provide disco, quiz nights and karaoke, for pubs and club quiz nights ect. I can also provide bingo for licenced venues that already run it. But I can obviously call and run it ect.
I no longer provide Mascots. I sold most of them when I ceased my business. But, if you are after mascots adding on, I can recommend a fantastic company that can pop in for a character experiences and photo opportunities.
I will NOT be providing facepainting. EVER 🤣🤣The queue and impatience of people wanting facepainting sends my nerves into overdrive. Kids surrounding me and barricading me into a corner, on boiling hot days, instead of staying in a line, asking me 2000000 questions whilst I’m painting another child and trying to get through them as quick as possible. Chewing my brain off. Parents are worst than the kids, instead of sitting and enjoying their day at a christening and allowing their kids to be pre occupied for half an hour in a queue, and learn valuable lessons of staying in a queue or you will lose your place and wait longer (why not utilise this time for extra peace and quiet and get the beers in), they will insist on being in the queue with their child, burning my skull with their eyeballs so I know their kid is due soon, making loud comments like “you will be soon lad!!”, instead of just sitting down and enjoying their day and leaving their kid to it. The whole experience is just horrible and time consuming when I could be doing a game. Then the worst, when they start crying, smudge all the facepaint with tears and come back, demanding me to re-do it 🥵🥵 imagine, re-doing facepaints all day each time it’s smudged. I’m only doing this long winded rant about it, so I can revert people who want to book back to it, when they try and insist on my bring my paints 🤣🤣 PAINTS HAVE FINISHED ✔️ 🤣
