*URGENT PLEASE READ*

We have received an email from British Ice Skating to alert us to some scams going on in the social media world especially TikTok. There are some awful people targeting younger skaters who have social media and saying they know them and to send a picture. They are then using AI to do the unthinkable with these images.

Please keep your children safe online and educate them on online safety.

If anyone has any concerns please feel free to email us or message us directly. There is also a contact for BIS in the letter. The police are involved and working with BIS.

*We are introducing a new exhibition category for this competition, which is very similar to the Planet Ice Artistic Competition. Think costumes, music and handheld props!*

There is a category for everyone - Skate Excellence, Skate UK, Skate Star, Pre-Beginners, Free Skate, Pattern Dance and Free Dance. View the criteria at www.wisc.uk/events. Congratulations to Ivy Birch, who competed in the Pre-Novice Under 9 Girls category in the BIS August Qualifier last week. Ivy earned herself 4th place and her highest ever TES score!

Congratulations to our members, who competed in the Magnum Open earlier this month. No podium places this time, but Ivy Birch, Hetty Williamson, Elcie-Mae Walsh, Alexandra Negraru and Rory Birch skated beautifully and should all be really proud of themselves!

Elcie-Mae came a very respectable 7th out of 20 competitors and Rory had his axel called in competition for the first time.

Well done, guys! Looks like you had fun on your Scottish adventure, too! 😊🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
