On Friday 25 September, local residents, community groups and organisations will come together at Victoria Park, Widnes for this year's Reclaim the Night event, raising awareness of women's safety and the importance of creating safer public spaces for everyone.

The event begins at the bandstand with a group warm-up, followed by a walk around the park and a series of inspiring speeches.

At Halton Housing, we're committed to working with partners and residents to help create communities where people feel safe, supported and connected.

If you'd like to take part, we'd encourage you to join the walk and show your support.

πŸ’š A cleaner, greener Halton Lodge! 🌳🧹

On Friday, our colleagues rolled up their sleeves as part of our 'Spruce Up Your Streets' programme, collecting an incredible 15 huge bags of litter, filling countless skips, clearing pathways and generally sprucing up the Halton Lodge area, to help it look its very best.

A huge thank you to everyone who got involved last Friday. These events are about more than just tidying up. Every bag collected helps create a community we can all be proud of and can have a lasting impact. As always a huge thanks to everyone who got involved and made the event the success it was! (There were even some smiles along the way!)
