I started DJing at the tender age of 14 when I played my first birthday disco. By the age of 16 I was DJing for at least one and often two weddings/birthdays/celebrations every weekend. I was also the regular DJ for our family run social club, helping to keep the dancefloor partying every night! In my twenties I discovered a love for Modern Jive dancing and soon became a regular DJ on the MJ circuit as well as a teacher for The Jive Club in Essex, whilst still maintaining a regular flow of private celebration DJ events. I’ve been dancing, DJing and teaching at The Jive Club and as a guest DJ and teacher all round the UK and in Europe for clubs and weekend events for over twenty years. I see each night and event, dance night or private party, as a new source of fun and experimentation both behind the decks and on the dancefloor. When I’m spinning the tracks I love to offer a wide variety of musical choices from across the eras, styles and genres so that there’s always something for everyone no matter what their musical tastes or where they’re currently at in their dance journey. I’ve been DJing for over 25 years now and every time I DJ I love to see a floor full of people enjoying the music I play for them. Putting the tracks together in just the right order to keep everything flowing and everyone partying and dancing is as much a pleasure as it is a fun challenge!
