✨ ONE YEAR AGO TODAY — HAPPY BIRTHDAY KINESIS ✨

A year ago today we opened the doors to our very first Kinesis Indoor Dance Festival WUCC

What started as an idea and lots of conversations became a real-life space filled with music, DJs, live performance, art, visuals, movement, connection and community.

We wanted to create an immersive, creative and completely alcohol-free commununity event — where people could come together to dance, connect and experience something different.

It took a huge amount of work from so many people to bring Kinesis to life, and looking back a year later, we feel incredibly proud of what we created together.

We learnt a lot. There were challenges, and there are definitely things we'd do differently — but that's part of creating something from the ground up.

More than anything, we remember the energy in that room. Seeing an idea we'd spent so long talking about actually happening around us was pretty special.

A huge thank you to everyone who contributed their time, creativity and energy, and to every person who came and danced with us.

One year on, Kinesis is still evolving. Today, Charlotte Lewis and I (Hannah) sat down to discuss our next steps. We're excited to see where it goes next.

So watch this space. We look forward to bringing this creation to life once more.
