Every year we put on a wonderful event that is free for everyone to attend. But it costs a lot to put on. Send a fiver or a tenner to help.

May Half Term Holidays

Join in the daily craft activity 'Oom Pah Pah' between 12noon and 3pm.

Visit our pop-up Ashington Group hut during the May Half Term holiday and get creative with a BRAND NEW art activity – designed by Paul Merrick and inspired by one of the Ashington Group paintings.

Oom Pah Pah! is inspired by the amazing brass instruments played by members of Colliery Brass Bands. Pick a player and create your own imaginary brass instrument using the materials provided. The wackier the better!!

Admission to Woodhorn Museum is £9.50 adults, £8.50 concessions and under 18s visit for FREE. Pay once and enjoy unlimited repeat visits for the whole year.

It is a great night out.

Great way to support the Whitley Bay Carnival. Could you help too?

It’s the shop’s 3rd birthday today and we’re supporting our community by hosting a donation day for the Whitley Bay Carnival.

One of our favourite events of the year, the carnival will fill the streets between 25 and 26 May. The 2,000 strong parade will be at the carnivals heart.

Whitley Bay Carnival is for everyone from babes in arms to our most elderly elders, it’s all about joy, family, togetherness and fun. The free events cost a lot to make happen and this year sees a gaping hole in the budget so we want to do what we can to support this year. We’re donating 10% of today’s sales to event organisers 🌈

Shop with us today and support our community, or make your own donation through the crowdfunder. And put those May Carnival dates in your diary!
