The final Free Poetry Workshop is on Friday 11th September from 10am until 12pm in Whitchurch Library, St Mary’s Arcade, 13-17 High Street, Whitchurch, SY13 1AX. Entry is free.

We are thrilled to announce that the winner of the 2026 Slam was Kerry Jones . All 15 poets were excellent and on anther day could have won but Kerry's win was well deserved. Thanks to all who took part. Here our Judge Morgan Birch awards the prize Thanks to Chris Driver for the photo.
