Singing For Fun Whitchurch Hampshire Singing For Fun is a local community adult choir for upper range voices based in Whitchurch, Hampshire. We rehearse on Wednesday evenings 7:30-9:30pm.

No audition required. Contact us to join. We are an upper voices adult community choir, rehearsing every Wednesday with a social aspect after rehearsal for those that wish to join. We perform in a number of concerts each year raising money for charities that are close to our hearts. This choir is about the taking part and having fun. No auditions are held and anyone with an upper voice over the age of 16 is welcome to join.

Next weekend we will be joining with Barton Stacey Chamber Choir to welcome Kordelia to the UK. Kordelia is a ladies choir from just outside Bergen in Norway. The programme will be very mixed reflecting the styles of the three choirs.
Please note that entry is by cash on the door. We will not have the facility for any other sort of payment.

Our programme this year is a little different. We would love you to join us for our concerts this year.
On Saturday 30th May we will be singing with Barton Stacey Chamber Choir and a choir from Norway, in an as yet to be announced location in Wi******er.
On Saturday 26th September we join forces with Barton Stacey Chamber Choir again at St Bartholomew's Church, Wi******er. We will bring you a selection of music that we will have sung on our tour to Lisbon.
And Christmas will be celebrated, as we usually do, in the Whitchurch Methodist Church on Wednesday 9th December.
Put the dates in your diary and we will update you as soon as we can.

It's time to get out some new music and start rehearsing again.
We have had a slightly longer than normal break over Christmas and New Year but on Wednesday 28th January we will be back. We are a Ladies Community Choir which means no experience or music reading ability is required, although some insight will make it a lot easier. New members are always welcome, we rehearse on Wednesday evenings, 7:30pm to 9:30 pm in the Methodist Church on Wi******er Street.

It’s a busy week ahead for the Singing for Fun choir. We’re singing for the residents of Berehill House Nursing Home and Wessex Lodge on Tuesday afternoon. Wednesday we will be singing at Countess of Brecknock Hospice and on Thursday we shall be entertaining the Whitchurch Women’s Institute. Bring on the caroling!

Our concert is happening this evening, and we can’t wait to share our music with you.

Entry is FREE — we only ask for a recommended £10 donation to support the Hampshire Medical Fund.

Tomorrow we bring all our hard work, harmonies, and heart to the stage.

From Angelus ad Virginem and The Coventry Carol to We Three Camels and Do you Hear What I Hear we have something for everyone, and of course there are some audience participation carols too!
