Great North Folk Festival is set in the heart of the North York Moors National Park. Starting Friday 10th July until the evening of the 12th July we bring you three full days of concerts, workshops, sessions and friends ......You can choose to come for the day, stay the weekend in a local b&b or on the festival campsite situated only a few minutes walk from the main event. John Ward , has been a friend of The Great North Folk Festival for many years and made many appearances here. At this years festival (July 10-12th) he returns with his trio , performing on Friday and Saturday. On Sunday , joined by his wife Lynne, they'll perform at the Final Afternoon Concert. PAUL LUCAS & ALAN YOUNG will present their own curated singaround , music and poetry session at the Great North ( 2pm Saturday 11th July) titled 'A Poem , A Pint , a Tune and a Song'. Our cup runneth over with good cheer and music. Thank you, to everyone of you, for again supporting Great North Folk Festival.
