Our Pals Silvi need your votes people. They are superb and we hope they’ll be next to fly the elusive WL banner !!

A WEST LOTHIAN band need your votes in the Liverpool sound city battle of the bands event.
Singer and songwriter Jodi Findlay, from Mid Calder, and Bathgate's Cameron McLean, who plays drums and guitar, make up the alt pop band SILVI.
And they're the only West Lothian band to make it as far as the final 100 in the battle of the bands.
Jodi and Cameron gigged individually on the West Lothian music scene for a number of years, before getting together last summer to form SILVI.
They have two songs on spotify / iTunes (Your Smoke' and 'That’s Not Love' which is on the Scotify playlist. The band has also been featured many times on BBC Scotland.
"This competition would be an amazing opportunity for us to get the band off the ground after a difficult year without live music," Jodi told West Lothian NEWS.
Lines are open from 10am today for 24 hours, to get your votes in.
"We’re up against a lot of much bigger bands so we’d appreciate every single vote we can get," added Jodi.

Just a heads up regarding Covid folks. As West Lothian sits in Tier 4, the Studio has been forced to temporarily close untill atleast 11th December. Not great but we'll be back... Atleast this will give us a good oportunity to clean the fag bin! Any questions give us a bell.
