As we’re now closed for a few weeks and we have lots of new followers, I thought I’d Introduce myself to you all ⭐️

Hi, I’m Kirby. Owner & Principal of Kirby Campbell Dance Company.

Dance has been my passion for as long as I can remember. I began my journey at a local dance school in South Shields, where I quickly developed a love for performing and competing. From a young age, I competed at major championships across the UK, proudly becoming a North East Champion in Tap, Ballet, Modern and Song & Dance.

My dedication to dance led to me being awarded a full scholarship to one of London’s most prestigious performing arts colleges, London Studio Centre, where I trained professionally for three years before graduating with a Foundation Degree in Musical Theatre & Performing Arts.

During my training, I was honoured to be crowned Miss Dance of Great Britain at just 17 years old—a moment that remains one of my proudest achievements.

Since graduating, my career has taken me around the world. I’ve had the privilege of performing on some of the world’s largest cruise ships and touring internationally with the world-renowned Spirit of the Dance across the UK, Canada and China.

My professional credits also include performances in UK pantomimes at the Sunderland Empire, Glasgow King’s Theatre and Croydon Theatre, A Chorus Line at the Tyne Theatre, international commercial work for Hyundai, stage productions across Europe, television appearances including Byker Grove, and a commercial filmed at London’s iconic O2 Arena.

However, despite all of these incredible experiences, my greatest achievement isn’t found on a stage, it’s in the dance studio.

Opening Kirby Campbell Dance Company has allowed me to fulfil my lifelong dream of inspiring the next generation of dancers. My aim is to create a welcoming, supportive environment where every child feels valued, grows in confidence, builds lifelong friendships and develops a genuine love for dance.

Whether a child dreams of performing professionally or simply wants to dance for fun, every student is encouraged to be the very best version of themselves. I believe in high-quality training, nurturing every child’s potential, celebrating every achievement, and most importantly…
