Last, but not least, meet Mickey - played by Clare!

While the cast was originally written for 12 performers, Clare is our much-loved additional cast member. She’s taken on the roles of Mickey, Britney, and plenty of others along the way and has also become our official Chief ‘Chair’ Captain! 🪑😂

She somehow knows exactly where every chair needs to be in every scene… honestly, we don’t know what we’d do without her! 🤯❤️

What begins as a frustrating and uncertain situation soon turns into something much more meaningful when Nick experiences the incredible kindness of the people of Newfoundland.

What starts as an uncertain few days turns into an experience she’ll never forget, as Diane discovers the warmth, humour and incredible generosity of the people of Newfoundland ❤️

S.T.F.D… Can you believe Opening Night is only FOUR days away!

As we head into show week we’re feeling so grateful for this entire journey, everyone who has been a part of bringing this beautiful story to life, everyone who has supported and engaged with what we’ve shared and to everyone who has bought a ticket! Thank you! 💙

We’re not done yet.. there’s still pieces of our journey to share and document 👀

Hannah has one thing on her mind… her son 🧑‍🚒

Stranded in Gander after September 11th, she’s desperate to find out if her son, a firefighter in New York, is safe.

On September 11, 2001, 343 brave firefighters made the ultimate sacrifice while running towards danger to save others. We remember their courage, their service, and the lives they left behind. Never forgotten. 🕊️

Like thousands of other passengers, Kevin T arrives in Newfoundland with his boyfriend Kevin J, with no idea how long he’ll be there or what the next few days will bring.

But something happens that he never expected. He experiences an extraordinary level of kindness from complete strangers and his experience inspires him to create Pay It Forward 9/11, a movement encouraging people to respond to tragedy with acts of kindness and compassion ❤️

The real Kevin Tuerff has continued that work ever since, carrying the spirit of Gander forward and encouraging people to do something good for someone else.
