Come and try us out! 01934 627709 Vocalise is a non-audition choir singing a wide variety of music in harmony and in unison, run by local singing teacher Ann Clewlow. We are very friendly and have a lot of fun, both in choir and on socials. We love performing and taking part in local festivals, where we have won gold medals every
year since we were formed in 2013. In 2019 we were awarded the only Honours mark in the Festival's Music Section and won every class in 2020, just before the first lockdown. Not bad for a non audition community choir! There is no requirement to read music - all members are given full scores - and no experience is necessary. Some like to put themselves forward for a small solo - it's entirely up to you. Some say that the biscuits are worth coming for - come and try us out and see for yourself! The first session is free. After that it's £8 a week, payable weekly for the rest of the first month until you settle in and decide Vocalise is for you, then membership is monthly by standing order of £28 on 1st of the month, or cash at the first meeting in the month, for which you are guaranteed 42 sessions a year. Vocalise do not meet on bank holidays or for two weeks over Christmas. We love supporting charities, especially local ones.
