STUDIO UPDATE

Hi all,

Just to let you know we are unfortunately, still unable to gain access to the building due to the unsafe nature of the structure after the fire.

We are speaking with the insurance companies but with them needing to access the damage it's going to take longer than normal.

We have refunded all outstanding sessions, but if anyone is unsure, please get in touch via [email protected] and we'll check.

Will update again, when we have more news.

Hi Everyone,

We're sure you've all seen the reports and pictures from the last few days of the devastating fire that swept through some of the industrial estate and completely destroyed a number of businesses including ours. Thankfully, there were no reported casualties. Difficult though it may be, property can be replaced, lives can't.

The Fire Brigade (huge thanks to these guys for doing everything they could to stop it spreading) has officially announced they believe that the fire was started deliberately in the field next to the estate, and have handed the investigation over to the Police. If anyone has any information please call 101 and quote reference number 5226232390, or complete an online appeals form.

We are still processing what's happened and thinking of everything over the last seven years we achieved building the studios, and giving local musicians another option of somewhere to rehearse and record in Weston, including opening a 2nd rehearsal space in early 2025.

Losing the studios and production equipment for Reaper Events is a double blow and a very bitter pill to swallow knowing it didn't need to happen...

We need to look at what it would take to recreate the rehearsal spaces in Weston, as there is a massive need to support the local music scene especially considering the current state of the industry.

But this will take time and we will need time to recover from losing everything...

STUDIO UPDATE

Unfortunately, it looks like the studios are a total loss and will be closed until further notice.

We are still waiting for the fire brigade to alllow access to the site but could be another 24 hours, but I have had it confirmed that all three units we have are completely destroyed.

Thanks everyone for your support and once we've had time to register everything we'll look at bookings already made and start refunding those bookings

Use of White Noise Studios

Can I remind everyone that our terms and conditions are explicit when it comes to hiring our studios to rehearse in. You are hiring the room, whilst the instruments therein do not form part of that agreement and we supply them free of charge, but cannot guarantee availability at all times. Terms and Conditions are available for you to read when you book the room via the portal.

Please see below an excert from our T&C's:

3.5. The Hirer acknowledges and agrees that the booking and associated hire fee pertain exclusively to the use of the physical rehearsal room. Any musical instruments, backline, or supplementary equipment located within the space are provided strictly as discretionary, added items and do not form part of the core hire agreement. The Company makes no guarantees regarding the presence, working condition, or suitability of these additional items. Furthermore, the unavailability, malfunction, or removal of any such instruments or equipment during the scheduled rehearsal period shall not constitute a breach of these Terms and Conditions, nor shall it entitle the Hirer to any refund, discount, or compensation.

Studio 1 Update

Unfortunately, whilst we had the BG250 bass amp at a gig this last weekend it decided to say bye bye, so I have left my big Ampeg in there for now - please show it some respect as this is not normal rehearsal space kit.

I have just ordered a Fender Rumble 100 which should be here early next week to replace the TC Electronic that died
