Just So Dance Just So Dance formed in July 2007 by School Principal Stacey Carter. We follow the syllabus of the ISTD in Ballet, Modern and Tap. IDTA in Jazz and Hip Hop.

Ballet, Modern Theatre, Tap, Jazz, Street, Contemporary, Acro, National, Tiny Tots, Pre-School Dance, Adult Danceacise, Adult Theatre Fit, Adult Circuit-Fit, Adult Barre, Adult Tap, Adult Ballet, Adult Commercial, Adult Contemporary. Classes are based in Westbury in the Just So Dance studios, they cater for children as young as 2 1/2 years old up to adults. The classes we offer are M

odern Theatre, Tap, Ballet, Hip Hop, Jazz, contemporary, Acro and Musical Theatre. Acrobatic Arts in Acro. Students will get the opportunity to take examinations or medal tests once they are ready, however this is not compulsory. All classes are run in our own private dance studios on the woodland industrial estate.

- Sliding into the new academic year like ~> 🤩

Intermediate Adult Tap showing us how it’s done … and yes, to those who have been told not to slide in tap shoes, there is a ‘slides’ exercise in the ISTD intermediate grade so this class is totally allowed 🤘

Our new term starts on Monday (7th September) and we look forward to welcoming everyone back throughout the week!

Here’s a video showing our Grade 6 and Primary exam students practicing their variation … the uppermost and lowest grades entered on our exam day!

We offer ballet for dancers from their Pre-School year, throughout their time at school, and classes for adults too:

Tuesdays - Juniors & Seniors
Wednesdays - Juniors & Seniors
Thursdays - Adults (Improvers & Intermediate)
Saturdays - Pre-School, Reception & Year 1

✨ to 2021! ✨
Half term looked a little different that year when I had to bring some of my students in to finish learning their Tapathon routine, with their tap exams coming up! 🥁👞
The amazing thing was, they pretty much learnt the whole routine in one go! 🤯👏 It reminds me just how much our students can achieve when they put their minds to it! ❤️
And now… who’s looking forward to Tapathon 2026?! 👞🎶🙌

Stacey’s mini Acro group would always sing their song before starting their dance! 🎶🥰 They absolutely loved their show dance song this year, and their excitement every time they heard it was just the sweetest! 💃✨ Such happy little dancers!

The past week has been a stagey one!

Last week was Lord of the Dance and this evening was West Side Story - both brilliant! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Coincidentally 6 years ago for our online summer school Harriet taught the seniors a dance to Jet Song one week and some Irish moves the next!
