Just So Dance Just So Dance formed in July 2007 by School Principal Stacey Carter. We follow the syllabus of the ISTD in Ballet, Modern and Tap. IDTA in Jazz and Hip Hop.

Ballet, Modern Theatre, Tap, Jazz, Street, Contemporary, Acro, National, Tiny Tots, Pre-School Dance, Adult Danceacise, Adult Theatre Fit, Adult Circuit-Fit, Adult Barre, Adult Tap, Adult Ballet, Adult Commercial, Adult Contemporary. Classes are based in Westbury in the Just So Dance studios, they cater for children as young as 2 1/2 years old up to adults. The classes we offer are M

odern Theatre, Tap, Ballet, Hip Hop, Jazz, contemporary, Acro and Musical Theatre. Acrobatic Arts in Acro. Students will get the opportunity to take examinations or medal tests once they are ready, however this is not compulsory. All classes are run in our own private dance studios on the woodland industrial estate.

Today we want to say a huge thank you to Poppy! 💙✨
During her last couple of years at JSD, Poppy stepped into the role of class assistant, and even while completing her three years at college, she continued to support our dancers with the same enthusiasm, kindness, and dedication.
She has been a wonderful role model to our younger students, always willing to help, encourage, and share her love of dance. We are so grateful for everything she has given to JSD over the years.
As she moves on to her next big adventure, we wish her every success and happiness. We know she'll do amazing things, and we'll all be cheering her on every step of the way.
Thank you for everything, Poppy – you'll always be part of the JSD family. ❤️

- 4 years of Adult Commercial 🙌

Adult Commercial started in June 2022 … Here are some stats to summarise the past four years:
*Roughly 150 classes taught
*20 dances learnt and recorded
*2 show dances created and performed

Which was your favourite? I’ve added numbers to the montage so it’s easy to let us know in the comments!

Dance 23 has almost been finished and it’s possibly the most rhythmically intricate I’ve choreographed so far 😅

JSD’s adult tap cohort is currently 24 strong, spanning across our Tuesday Intermediate and Thursday Improver classes. The aim is to start a new Thursday Beginner class in the autumn, if demand is great enough ☺️

I look forward to welcoming you along for the taster class! This is the perfect chance for anyone who has ever taken an interest in tap dancing to try it out … It’s such a unique genre which I’ve seen countless adult beginners fall in love with. Regardless of any coordination struggles you think might get in the way, I encourage you to sign up and have a go!

P.S. - Four years ago in June 2022, I started a new beginner adult tap class … Our present-day Improver class! Time flies 🩶
