Something very special is in the making!
The cast at Drama Unlimited held their first read-through of The 56 tonight.

Wow! What an emotional roller coaster. As a director, you know you’ve got the right cast when everyone is moved to tears. Not through dramatisation but through the raw emotion and realism.

Really looking forward to bringing this wonderful piece of writing to life at Bingley Little Theatre in September. It’s going to be special.

A massive thanks to Matt Woodhead and Gemma Wilson for giving us the privilege of working on their powerful play.

Thanks to Orson Smith, Jason Cherriman and Natasha Kowalski for working so hard tonight on this read-through. You are going to be an awesome cast!

Drama Unlimited are proud to announce our next production and the amateur premiere of:

“The 56”

Based on over 60 real testimonies, The 56 tells the story of the Bradford City fire and the people affected by it.

“Nobody dies in football matches in fires. It doesn’t happen!”

We’re honoured to be the first amateur society to be given the rights to perform this incredible play.

📍 Theatre Upstairs, Bingley Arts Centre

We are casting 3 roles (2 male, 1 female).

Auditions will be held Monday 1st June at 7:30pm
