Introducing ‘Flores’ my first narrowboat commission. When I first launched my architecture pieces, I never even considered the possibilities that could come with it. When you think of a home, you think of bricks and mortar, a tiled roof and front door - or at least I did. That was until Sandra contacted me asking if I could paint her narrowboat as an anniversary gift for her Husband, and of course, I said yes. 2026 is the year I’m trying to take on different commissions, ones outside of my comfort zone. It’s a year of saying yes - at one time this request would have probably sent me into a frenzy of thinking ‘There’s no way I could paint a canal boat’ but lo and behold, I proved to myself I absolutely can! It was an honour to be trusted with this gorgeous floating home, and I really challenged myself with all the intricate details, tiny windows and hatches and of course the all important reflections to bring this floating beauty to life. Please show her some love for me, and if you know of anyone who owns a narrowboat or has enjoyed the canal life before - be sure to tag them below. I’d love to paint some more so here’s hoping Flores is the first of many! 🛟⚓️✨

Hello June! 🌼 Well, I’ll hold my hands up once again and admit I’ve been absolutely terrible at sharing my work recently and my page has taken a bit of a backseat. Admittedly, I have been looking after and keeping our pup Bobby entertained while painting all your lovely pets, so multitasking has become a new skill of mine (or a skill I’m still trying to master should I say 🤣) Even so, I’m back to share the gorgeous Marigold. I’ve worked for her mum, Victoria, before when I painted her Chihuahua, Primrose, last year, so I was over the moon when she returned to have her newest addition, Marigold, painted too. I have to say I’m genuinely so proud of this piece, it came with a lot of challenges as painting Pomeranian fur is no mean feat!! I had to really put a lot of faith and trust in myself and my abilities (which is something we all know I struggle with). Pieces like these really put my self doubt to the test and it’s almost like a big ‘GET IN’ when I win against my doubt. I’m thrilled to know she now hangs in pride of place on the wall alongside Primrose’s portrait. Thank you so much for trusting me with your little fluffball Victoria! 😍

The one and only, Jackson 🌈 This gorgeous boy belonged to the lovely Hayley of and lived a beautiful life of 15 years. He was the reason their family business .co.uk came to fruition which just goes to show how much of an important part of their family he was. It’s clear to see how loved and adored he was, and still is - leaving behind a huge hole in their family home. I was so touched that Hayley put her trust in me to capture their precious Puggle and I’m so pleased to know she loves it just as much as I loved creating him. I put my heart and soul into these pieces and Jackson is a new firm favourite of mine. In memory of Jackson 08.11.09 - 22.02.25 🕊️

‘Dick & Liddy’
Delighted to finally be able to share this piece in full of two beautiful Border Terriers. This was by far one of my most mentally challenging paintings to date, particularly as I worked from a physical photograph. If you swipe to the very end you’ll see that the original reference image wasn’t of the best quality, however my customer really wanted me to capture their duo exactly as he remembered them; this particular photograph was exactly that and told them in their truest forms. Though it’s always a challenge working from a grainy photograph, I find it’s one of the best ways to improve my skills. I really had to think about this one and did, at times, fear I would never make it to the end. But, in true Lucy style, I persevered and with a lot of artistic license and patience I got there. I’m so proud of this piece and even more thrilled to know that my customer’s wife cried happy tears when opening this portrait on Christmas morning. It now hangs in pride of place in their hallway so ‘anyone who comes to the house will see it’. To me there’s no better compliment than this 🥰
