Day 1 of making the artwork I want to make 🤍

I’ve realised that over the last few years, most of my artwork has had a purpose. Recently, I’ve been feeling the urge to experiment more and create some of the ideas that have been sitting in my head for a while.

I want to create these without my perfectionist side taking over too!

So this is my first attempt! The inspiration came from a beautiful photograph by

Who knows where this will lead, it may just a fun experiment, or maybe one day one of these ideas will grow into a whole collection. Either way, it feels good to be creating without overthinking it and trying to be perfect!

Do you see coral, flowers or shells? One of my favourite things about creating these pieces is hearing what people see in them. I often get comments saying coral, flowers or shells, and I think I can see all three🐚

These have become one of my most requested designs recently, which makes me so happy as they’re one of my favourites to create. These can be commissioned in a range of sizes, making them perfect for bringing a subtle touch of the coast into your home ✨

I also thought I’d leave my failed attempt at pulling the clay apart at the start, sometimes things don’t quite go to plan the first time around😂

I have a soft spot for these little floral pieces 🤍
They were some of the first pieces I made when I was getting back into creating earlier this year, and I think that’s partly why I love them so much. They’re simple, full of texture, and feel really calming to look at. I can picture them in a cosy corner of a home, especially if you’re someone who loves flowers, texture, and bringing little touches of nature indoors ✨
