Neither are the inspiration behind this but still amused me.
The initial sketches for a series of pieces that are on the drawing board.

This gentleman was sitting near the Golden Temple in Amritsar when he was joined by his friend.
They kindly agreed to being photographed - and as soon as I framed the scene I knew I had to draw it.
Although the location was a sea of people, he was very calm and tranquil. A joyous reminder that we can choose our state of mind irrespective of what is going on around us.
