You better believe I’m still character designing away quietly to myself any opportunity I get as a 2 job cutie and slowly building my story’s community! Super reluctant to share stuff before it’s developed fully but is that not what life is all about?
This character’s working title is Granny Sweetie; stowaway mortal, Ultimate Granny Energy (she’s the amalgamation of aw yer wee Grannies), celebrated maker of sweets and concoctions, religious about attending the bingo on a Friday night (aka. Coven meets), absolute unstoppable force, unofficial (official in her book but) Matriarch and my exclusively Scots character 🏴.
She’s wantin’ ye tae jump to the shoap fur the paper hen? She’s made ye a wee cardigan so ye don’t catch yer death. She’s no’ a nippy sweetie but she doesny take any cheek aw the same; isny feart to tell even the scariest wraiths and spirits HERE, YOU BETTER CHUCK IT ✋🏼⛔️🚮 Even ghouls can take a tellin’.
Sweetie is joyful, hilarious, doesny bother her shirt with idle talk and is one of Fae’s greatest supporters. A lot of her spirit comes from my own Granny whose pinny collection and wee pal’s gold tooth are referenced here. Imagine having someone as indomitable Granny Sweetie in yer corner? 🥹🍬🚀🧙♀️🪄
