Over the past few months, wildlife artist Kirsten Mirrey Art has been creating a beautiful portrait of our rescued puma, Inca, as part of her Art for Inca campaign.

Thanks to Kirsten’s incredible generosity and talent, £5,421 has been raised so far through the sale of the original painting and limited-edition prints, helping to support Inca’s future enclosure.

We’re so grateful to Kirsten for choosing to support Five Sisters Zoo. Her stunning artwork has not only raised vital funds but has also helped share Inca’s story and our ongoing commitment to providing a safe and loving home for animals in need.

If you’d like to own a piece of this special collaboration, we still have a small number of Inca prints available in our gift shop, but once they’re gone, they’re gone!

And if you love Inca’s portrait, be sure to check out Kirsten’s other incredible wildlife artwork on her social media pages and website.

Please join us in thanking Kirsten for all her hard work, generosity and support. 🐾❤️

It’s World Crocodile Day! 🐊

Meet Bob, one of our resident African dwarf crocodiles. Along with his companion Bindi, he has called Five Sisters Zoo home since 2007. Thought to be over 50 years old, Bob and Bindi continue to be fascinating ambassadors for his species. 💚

We’re delighted to share that our Head of Education, Adam Welsh, was awarded the 2026 BIAZA Rising Star Award at last week’s BIAZA conference. ⭐️

Presented by the British and Irish Association of Zoos and Aquariums, the award recognises individuals who have gone above and beyond in supporting their collection and the wider BIAZA community.

Anyone who knows Adam will know how passionate he is about conservation education and inspiring people to care about wildlife. Alongside his work here at Five Sisters Zoo, he has also made a significant contribution to the wider zoo and aquarium community through his involvement with BIAZA and the Conservation Education Committee.

We’re thrilled to see this hard work and dedication recognised.

Congratulations, Adam! 👏🦁🐻🌿
