Mimic Theatre Company was founded in April 2018 by Kim Southey. The Youth Theatre Company runs weekly classes throughout term time and puts on shows every term. Since it's creation, our students have enjoyed regular public performances and theatre productions, as well as opportunities to further their skillset in all areas such as acting technique, devising, improv, script work, puppetry, stage co
mbat, mask work and much more. They have also had the opportunity to gain skills and experience in areas off stage with guest workshops by industry professionals, such as playwriting, filmmaking, working in TV, special effects makeup and much more. Mimic Youth Theatre also offers summer workshops, trips to West End and Fringe shows, and the chance to audition for and take part in professional work. At Mimic, we learn by doing, so we are always working towards a production or showcase alongside regular sessions. We believe in our students, which is why we offer our training at very affordable rates and offer discounts for multiple classes and siblings. Alongside Mimic Youth Theatre, we also offer a stage school in Performing Arts, which includes intensive and casual training in Singing, Acting and Dancing, further opportunities to perform in large theatres, as well as classes in Acro Dance.
