Gel Printing with lace or textured fabric.

Did you know that if you lay down textured fabric onto your gel plate you can get this kind of effect? Well you can! Just cover your plate in paint and lay down the fabric. Lift it off and leave it to dry and then cover with another colour. Then pull your print.
It creates great pages that you can use as back grounds or in collages. I think this fabric was from an old net curtain.
