The return of one of the world’s great pianists to Cedars Hall is always a special occasion. Described as “one of the busiest pianists on earth”, Angela Hewitt last appeared here in 2018 with her unforgettable performances of Bach’s complete Preludes and Fugues.

Her Maestro 2026 recital offers a generous snapshot of her musical passions, with works by Mozart, Beethoven, Haydn and Schubert. A programme of depth, elegance and brilliance.

Join us for a spectacular evening of symphonic music as the Symphony Orchestra of Wells Cathedral School takes to the stage in the magnificent setting of Wells Cathedral.

Under the baton of Tess Jackson, the orchestra will perform Violin Concerto by Jean Sibelius and Symphonic Dances by Sergei Rachmaninoff. They are joined by the Chamber Choir for Serenade to Music by Ralph Vaughan Williams, creating a rich and powerful programme of Northern-inspired soundscapes.
