Wells Maltings Wells Maltings is a thriving centre for arts, heritage and community activity, opened in 2018. We ar We have a variety of spaces available for hire.

An exciting museum, arts, youth and community project in the heart of Wells-next-the-Sea in Norfolk. Our auditorium hosts a myriad of films, theatre and live screenings of opera, ballet and more. We also run the local tourist information centre within the building, and rely on volunteers skills and experience in lots of aspects from the Board, working groups and development, bar working, the theat

Well just like that summer 2026 closes & a new season rolls in. To all the 11-16 yrs local young people . The lounge youth space reopens on the 10th September bring a friend bingo night £1.for the both of you this week only. 5.30-7.30pm come & join us & have fun & make some new friends & bring ideas to create a inclusive environment for all. 🎨 A huge thank you to all the wonderful families who joined us for the Spoonhead Puppet Making Workshop with the Puppet Tree of West Runton on Saturday.

We loved seeing your incredible creativity and imagination come to life through your unique puppet characters. From Robin Hood to Mary, the Good Shepherd and the sheep! every single spoonhead puppet was a masterpiece!

Get ready for a feast of flavours! Join us at Wells Maltings for an evening of delicious Bangladeshi cuisine, carefully curated to delight every palate, including vegetarian options. 🍛

Menu:
Murgir Jhol- Traditional Bengali Chicken Curry with bone in chicken and potato with selected warming spices. (mild-medium)

Kala Bhuna- Tender beef Pieces flavoured with ginger, garlic, chilli, turmeric and nutmeg – originating from Chittagong (medium)

Masoor Dal (veggie) – A wholesome Bangladeshi Dal with red lentil, garlic, tomato, green chilli, cumin and fresh coriander (mild-medium)
