Keep Raunds Music Festival Alive! We Need YOU! 🎶

After many wonderful years of bringing incredible roots music to Raunds the current committee is sadly unable to continue in its current form due to illness and retirement.

Unfortunately at the last committee meeting the difficult decision was made that we would not be able to run a full festival in 2025.

The remaining committee are planning to run three concerts throughout the remainder of the year to keep the music going and hopefully return with a full festival in 2026 🤞🏻

Understandably the future of our much-loved festival is at risk. But here’s where YOU can make a huge difference! 🌟

We’re looking for passionate, enthusiastic volunteers to take over and help keep the festival going for years to come. It’s a fantastic opportunity to put your own stamp on this cherished event and continue bringing the joy of live music to our community. No experience is necessary—just a love for music and a willingness to get involved! 🎤🎻

There are a variety of roles available! Most importantly without a new Treasurer and secretary we are unable to continue, plus there are a number of more flexible roles such as looking after our social media, setting up or helping out on the day itself- there’s something to suit everyone’s availability. 🙌

Volunteering with Raunds Music Festival is more than just organising an event—it’s about being part of something that brings people together, showcases amazing talent, and creates lasting memories. Plus, it’s a great way to meet new people, develop new skills, and make a real impact in our town!

Without new volunteers, the festival won’t be able to continue. If you’ve ever enjoyed the festival, now is the time to step up and get involved. Let’s work together to ensure the music plays on! 🎶💪

Raunds Music Festival are thrilled to welcome the incredible Granny's Attic as part of their 15th Anniversary Tour! 🌟

With their exceptional musicianship and infectious energy, Cohen Braithwaite-Kilcoyne (melodeon, concertina, vocals), George Sansome (guitar, vocals), and Lewis Wood (violin, vocals) have captivated audiences across the UK and Europe since 2009.

From the Cambridge Folk Festival to Cecil Sharp House, they’ve become a beloved name in the folk scene. Now, they're bringing their well honed performance to Ringstead Shared Church!
