Wedmore Theatre Wedmore’s longest-established community arts group Wedmore Theatre has been bringing the community together through live performances since 1978.

We stage a wide range of productions each year, from pantos and classic plays to original dramas - all run by our passionate volunteer team. Whatever your age or experience, there are a number of ways to get involved. Whether you fancy treading the boards or hate the limelight, we are sure to have a role for you. It takes a big team to pull a show together, from sound and lighting technicians to s

On the Summer Solstice 2025, Wedmore Theatre is putting on a special performance of A Midsummer Night’s Dream to help raise funds for the Food Forest Project’s new community farm in Wedmore. The farm grows free fresh food for local food banks, as well as hosting social and environmental programmes and much more.
