My VIP assistants bringing their expertise to one of the illustrations for our book. This one is Nana's house by the river.

I've always told my eldest stories and one day he asked me to write them down for him and his brother.

Wild and imaginative full of intricate details that he has remembered over the years. Stories of foxes and ninjas and chocolate giants.

We have spent months writing it and nailing down all the details. He's designed all the illustrations with me and added his own touches and shown some incredible insight into story telling for a 7 year old. I think it will be my favourite ever project.

It won't be perfect, but what it will be is undesputably special and unique. How lucky am I that I've been able to write and illustrate a picture book with my son.
